Before moving right into the Instruction, we will let you know that Nespresso Citiz only has two beverage buttons; one is Lungo, and the other is Espresso. The Ristretto coffee program has to be set upon either Lungo or Espresso. So you have to sacrifice a beverage button for Ristretto.

Now let’s start with the Ristretto Programming Instructions.
Instructions:-
- Rinse and clean your water tank with fresh water.
- Fill the water tank with fresh water.
- Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
- Turn ON the machine by pressing either Espresso or Lungo button.
- The LED light will start blinking, which means the machine is now in the pre-heating phase.
- After approx. 25 seconds the LED lights will stop blinking. It means the machine has been heated up.
- To insert the capsule, lift the lever, place the capsule in the capsule compartment, and close the lever.
- Now press the button upon which you want to place the Ristretto settings. It can either be Espresso or Lungo.
- Press and hold the button until the desired volume of coffee is poured into the placed cup. Once the goal is achieved, lift the hold from the button.
- Your Ristretto size has been placed in the machine’s memory. Next time you press the button whose setting you changed, Ristretto-size coffee will be poured into the cup.
