Nespresso Capsules OriginalLine Stockholm Fortissio Lungo Taste Test
I opened the sleeve of my Stockholm Fortissio Lungo pod. My Stockholm pod has a pretty green-teal color and fantastic artwork. I brewed it with my Nespresso Prodigio machine. My drink had a dark color and pleasant aroma, and while stirring the crema, I found it had a lot of body and oil. Well! I took a sip and found the initial taste sweet and pretty good. The pleasant acidity and bitterness touched my tongue and amazed me. The aftertaste (sweet tobacco) was also pleasant, and the smooth, silky texture gave me a pleasant mouthfeel. I felt a decent amount of oil on my tongue; it made me curious to find out how it would work with milk. Overall, it was a good shot, and I greatly enjoyed it.
Next, I brewed a cappuccino to determine how Stockholm Fortissio stood with milk. The light brown color of the drink looked cool. I tasted it and found it sweet and pleasant. The sweet cereal notes hit my palate; honestly, what I tasted was incredibly impressive.
I also brewed a cold coffee with this lungo pod, and after tasting it, my first expression was Wow! I got a pleasant bitter aftertaste and a well-balanced flavor profile. Each time, Stockholm Fortissio surprised me with its hidden strength.
I preferred to pair Stockholm Fortissio coffee with pastries, donuts, butter croissants, or chocolate cake for breakfast. Each combination always amazed me.
