Starbucks by Nespresso Original-Line House Blend Pod Taste Test

I unboxed my Starbucks House Blend Nespresso capsule, and it had a brown color. It was compatible with Nespresso Original-Line machines, so I brewed it with my Gran Lattissima coffee machine. The 3.7 oz espresso beverage was dark (similar to dark roast capsules) and had thin crema. I smelled it and got a mild aroma; the scent was not strong. The color of the drink indicated it had an intensity level of 8. When I tasted it, I got rich bitter, and a bit of spicy notes. It had a dark smoky flavor (bold taste) and a rich, acidic bite. It had a burnt taste, but it was a good coffee cup overall.

I frothed the milk in the next shot and added it to the House Blend coffee. The brown color of the drink looked cool. The milk mellowed the acidic notes, but I still got the rich smoky flavor. It stood well with milk. I am a Starbucks fan, and it was a pleasant experience with this pod. High caffeine, great taste.

Starbucks House Blend Nespresso Original-Line capsules deliver balanced beverages. It has an average rating value (average customer ratings) of 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon. They are compatible with Nespresso Original-Line machines, including Essenza Mini, Pixie, CitiZ, Expert, Lattissima, KitchenAid, and Creatista. Brew with or without milk, pair it with berries, crepes, scones, and croissants, and enjoy your day.
