Nespresso Original-Line Decaf Espresso Starbucks Coffee Tasting
I unboxed my Starbucks Decaf Espresso Roast pod. It had a dark grey color. These capsules are compatible with Nespresso Original-Line machines. I brewed an espresso shot with this pod with my Essenza Mini Nespresso machine. My drink had a very sharp smell. I folded the crema in the shot and took a sip. The first sip hit me hard, with an intensity level of 11. It had a decent amount of bitter flavor, and the woody and earthy notes spreaded in my mouth. As this pod can work as ristretto and espresso, I brewed them with it. I got a pungent smell again, but when I tasted it, I was surprised. It was less intense than espresso. It was a good shot. Great taste- no caffeine!
I also tried this pod with milk. I added sugar to the milk, frothed it, and poured it into the Starbucks Decaf espresso. The drink looked fantastic, and I finally got the caramel flavor. It was a good coffee cup with balanced intensity, bitterness, and flavor profile.
Starbucks by Nespresso Decaf Espresso capsules delivers strong, dark, and good coffee cups. It stands well with or without milk. Pair it with pastries, donuts, caramel cookies, or any other sweet food; it will make your morning spectacular.
