My Vienna Linizio Lungo pod had an orange color and beautiful artwork. It was an Original capsule, and I brewed it with my Nespresso Gran Maestria machine. I smelled it, and the sweet and roasty scent soothed my nose. I took a sip, and the caramel notes hit my palate. It reminded me of caramel cookies. My drink was smooth and had a bit of bitterness, acidity, and malty notes. The bitter aftertaste surprised me and made me curious to try it with milk. Same taste as the Linizio Lungo!

So, when I brewed a cappuccino, the milk changed the flavor profile. The rich malty notes touched my tongue; the acidity and bitterness level remained the same. It was a smooth and well-balanced coffee cup.

It was a light roast blend, so I knew it would have low bitterness. However, I didn’t know that the bitterness would stay for a long time, making my drink linger. My Vienna Linizio mild roast coffee was smooth and well-balanced. It was not full-bodied; however, it gave me a pleasant mouthfeel. The thin crema was persistent and added a nice look. This blend worked well with milk and offered me an excellent cappuccino, flat white, etc., with a creamy texture. 

Flavor — Nutty And Balanced

Nespresso Vienna Linizio Lungo surprised me with its flavor profile. Upon my first sip, I got sweet notes which reminded me of caramel cookies. The smooth texture and mild malted notes amazed me as I took another sip. Same taste as the Linizio Lungo! The rich malty notes, mild acidity, and bitterness soothed my mouth when I brewed milk beverages with this blend. This blend became a part of my evening or after-dinner dessert.

Finish — Pleasant bitter

After slurping the whole cup of Vienna Linizio mild roast coffee, the pleasant bitter notes lingered on my tongue. It gave me a filling mouthfeel and made my day unforgettable.
