Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe Vertuo Taste Test

My Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe Vertuo capsule had a black color, and Zimbabwe was revived on it. I brewed this pod with my Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe machine. The espresso shot looked nice and had a dense crema on the top. I did not get any specific aroma. I folded the crema in the shot and tasted it. It was a good shot with a berry taste. I also felt acidic notes across the middle of my tongue. The cranberries and currants notes were dominant and added a lot of acidity and bitterness to my shot. I also felt the drying effect and the grape aftertaste. I enjoyed the shot a lot.

I frothed the one-and-a-half oz milk in another shot and added it to the Zimbabwe espresso shot. The golden color of the drink was nice, and when I took a sip, I felt the light grape taste. It was a good coffee or a unique cappuccino cup.

In the third shot, I added vanilla syrup to the 2 oz milk and frothed it. After this, I added the frothed milk to the espresso shot. When I tasted it, my first reaction was wow. The vanilla had added sweetness and revealed complex fruity notes. It was an excellent cup of coffee.

Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe Vertuo capsule delivers amazing drinks. Brew with or without milk in the morning, for breakfast, or after lunch; it will always amaze you. You can pair your drink with a coffee cake or chocolate mousse; it will make your breakfast nice.

Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe Vertuo Features — An In-Depth Insight

Below are the main attributes of the Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe Vertuo pod. These features differentiate these espresso pods from all other Vertuo pods. These attributes also make you understand whether it is best for you or not or when you should brew this pod. Let’s have a look at its features.

Origin — Zimbabwe Arabicas

Nespresso reviving origins Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe is a blend of 100% Zimbabwe Arabica beans. The world nearly lost Zimbabwe coffee due to political and climate issues. The farmers collaborated with Nespresso’s Reviving Origins program and restored Zimbabwe’s coffee industry. This coffee is grown in Zimbabwe’s high mountains and cold temperatures. In the 1990s, when the country’s production peaked at 15,000 tons of coffee, its quality was said to rival Kenyan coffee.

Roasting Level — 2 out of 5

In Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe, the beans get a split roast. The beans are roasted light and short in the first split to add sweetness. In the second split, the beans get dark and long roast which brings smoothness and balances the tastes and aromas of the coffee.

Aroma — Fruity Aromatic Profile

Nespresso reviving origins Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe gives a fruity aroma and soothes your nose. You can pick up hints of blueberry, redberries, and grape notes. However, in my experience, I got a light fruity scent, but it was a good coffee cup.

Acidity — 4 out of 5

Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe adds a lot of acidity to your espresso shot. The acidity comes from berries, not from coffee. This zesty, bright acidity causes a drying effect but does not make your drink harsh or acrid, so you can enjoy your shot as you want.

Bitterness — 2 out of 5

When I drank Zimbabwe coffee, I felt a bit of bitter notes on the tip of my tongue. When I added milk or brewed cappuccino, the milk took away all its bitterness and added sweet toffee notes. So, Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe is the best choice for you as it is one of the few pods that stand well with milk.

Body — 3 out of 5

Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe delivers full-bodied beverages. Its smooth texture soothed my throat when I tasted my Zimbabwe espresso shot. My shot had a dense crema on the top. When I added milk, it added a creamy texture and revealed sweet notes of caramel and toffee. Moreover, the blend of Zimbabwe Arabica beans adds smoothness and balance to the coffee. Brew latte macchiato, cappuccino, flat white, or other beverages; Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe will always amaze you.

Flavor — Fruity, and Complex

Nespresso Tamuka Mu Zimbabwe bursts complex fruitiness in your cup. I felt cranberries, currant, and acidic notes in my black espresso shot, but when I added milk, the grape notes hit my palate. You can also pick up the notes of red berries. However, these pods deliver perfect espresso shots with decent flavors.

Finish — Grape notes

When you finish your Zimbabwe coffee, you get a grape aftertaste. In my experience, I got a light bitter and grapey finish. My drink was smooth and lingering. However, when I brewed cappuccino, the grape notes fainted. In both cases, the finish was enjoyable. I found these capsules amazing, and one box will probably not be enough.
