I ordered my Nespresso Stormio Boost pods from Amazon. When I unboxed my boost pods, the dark green color looked nice. There was a Starbucks design on the top of the capsule, and the capsule is labeled on the back. I brewed it with the Nespresso VertuoPlus coffee machine as it is a Vertuo pod. It smelled excellent. The drink had a dark black color and dense crema, indicating that its intensity was 8. When I tasted it, the drink was pretty good. The strong spicy, woody notes touched my palate and hinted at Central American Arabicas. I felt a bit of bitterness on the tip of my tongue. The bitterness stayed for a long time and made my drink linger.
I added some milk to it, the spicy notes fainted, and the woody notes became dominant. However, in both cases, the drink’s aroma, flavor, and texture were the same, indicating Stormio Boost stood against the milk very well.
Like a regular blend of Stormio, Stormio Boost, enhanced with natural coffee extracts, is incompatible with Original machines. It delivers strong, intense, dark Arabica coffee cups and is best for those who start their day with strong long coffees. When I drank my Stormio Boost smooth coffee with my coffee machine, I found it heavy, complex, full-bodied, and smooth.
