Coffee is a warm hug that can get you through the morning and into the day, and there’s no better time to start your day with a cup than when it’s first waking up from its slumber. Nespresso coffee pods deliver an amazing coffee cup that wakes you up and gives you the kick you need on a heavy morning. I also tried Starbucks Nespresso coffee pods, but I liked Nespresso coffee capsules as they deliver perfect and well-balanced coffee cups with good crema. Whether you are a resident of the USA or not, you will like Nespresso pods. Nespresso Vertuo Solelio is one of the Nespresso coffee pods that delivers you a fantastic black coffee cup that allows you to kickstart your day with a clear head. Let’s study its features in detail.

The Bottom Line

Nespresso Solelio Vertuo coffee pods are a light blend of washed Kenyan and Colombian Arabica beans. This Arabica blend adds lively acidity, distinct fruity notes, and a hint of bitterness. Solelio is the light-bodied Vertuo coffee and is the gentlest start to the day. The addition of milk brings out creamy caramel notes into the black coffee.

Nespresso Solelio Light Roast Coffee Taste Test

I unboxed my Nespresso Vertuo Solelio pods. The gold-yellow color was eyeballing. They are VertuoLine capsules, so I brewed them with my Nespresso VertuoPlus. This light-roast coffee had a dense crema, and the color indicated an intensity of 2. It smelled wonderful. When I took a sip, my first impression was WOW. The coffee was extremely light. When I took another, I felt fruity notes on the tip of my tongue. There was something else flavor, but I could not pick it up. I felt a bit of lemongrass aftertaste. I knew it sounded weird, but I felt a bit of earthy (lemongrass) taste. The coffee was not full-bodied; it was too light a coffee cup, but the flavor was good overall.

I brewed another cup with milk. I frothed the milk and added it to the Solelio coffee. The golden brown color of the drink was amazing. I took a sip and felt woody notes and a bit of distinct fruity notes. The coffee was good and best for morning breakfast.

Nespresso Vertuo Solelio delivers light and well-balanced longer coffee. Enjoy with milk or without milk or pair it with dark chocolate or berries, Nespresso Solelio’s high-grown Colombian coffee will never disappoint you.
