Nespresso Mexico Taste Test

I bought Mexico pods from Amazon (a good seller), and it shipped me a pack/box of 10 capsules at an affordable price. My Nespresso Mexico Vertuo coffee capsule looked like it had a neon effect. The bright green Mexico has stamped all the way around. It is a Vertuo pod, so I brewed it with my Nespresso Vertuo machine. While it was brewing, it had a delicious smell. By its color, I judged it had an intensity of 6-7. When I smelled it, I felt a spicy aroma. My coffee had very thick crema; I mixed it and took a sip. I felt spicy notes (star anise) and a hint of acidity. The spicy notes stayed for a long time and made my drink linger. The bitterness touched the tip of my tongue. The body of the coffee was pleasant (thick and full-bodied), and it was a decent coffee cup.

In another shot, I collected all the necessary ingredients. I frothed the 3 oz milk (not plant-based)and added it to the Mexico coffee. The light brown color of the drink looked cool. When I tasted it, I came to know it changed the whole flavor. I felt woody notes, and the milk took away all its acidity. It was a good coffee cup, indeed.

Nespresso Mexico Vertuo coffee capsule delivers intense, dark, and full-bodied coffee cups. You’ll do a double take when you learn Master Origins Mexico. Brew it with or without milk, pair it with chocolate and coffee cake, and Mexico will make your breakfast outstanding. For more details, keep scrolling.

Nespresso Mexico Features  — An In-Depth Insight

I have mentioned some essential attributes of Nespresso Mexico Vertuo coffee pods. These attributes differentiate Mexico from all other Nespresso pods. These features also help you determine the complete insight of these pods and determine when you should brew this opulent pod.

Origin — Mexico Arabicas and Double Washed Robusta

Nespresso Mexico is a blend of Mexican Arabicas and double-washed Robusta beans. Robusta coffee appeared in 1949, while Arabica beans have been growing in Mexico for hundreds of years. The producers did not rely on old coffee-treating methods to get the best Robusta beans. They found the sticky fruit flesh persistently clinging to coffee beans and performed double washing. The single wash may loosen the hold, so the double washing cleans the Robusta beans and brings out the unique flavor. These double-washed Robusta beans are mixed with Mexico Arabica beans to deliver you a fantastic coffee cup.

Roasting Level — 4 out of 5

In Nespresso, Mexico, the beans are split-roasted. The Mexican Arabica are medium-roasted, while Robusta (double-wash) are deep and long-roasted. Combining these dark roasted beans adds optimal and balanced flavor to the coffee.

Aroma — Wild Roasted

While brewing, Master Origin Mexico delivered a good smell. After brewing, I got a spicy and woody scent when I smelled Mexican coffee. This lively and robust aroma made my day. Its aroma indicates that it is a good coffee cup.

Acidity — 1 out of 5

My Mexican coffee had a bit of acidity. Although it is a blend of medium-dark roasted Mexico Arabica and Robusta beans, it does not add too much acidity to your drink. This mild acidity does not make your coffee acrid or harsh and allows you to slurp the whole cup in a setting. An incredible thing I experienced with this Vertuo pod is that when I added milk to my Mexico coffee, it took away its all acidity and delivered me a smooth and good coffee cup.

Bitterness — 3 out of 5

When I tasted my Mexican coffee, I felt bitterness on the tip of my tongue. The high bitterness indicated the presence of dark-roasted Robusta beans. I like bitter coffee, so Nespresso Mexico is best for my morning coffee. If you want less bitter coffee, brew Mexico Vertuo pod with milk; it will take away all its bitterness and deliver you a sweet and smooth coffee.

Body — 3 out of 5

The thing I liked the most about Master Origin Mexico was its body. When I brewed the drink, it had dense (thick) crema on the top, and when I took a sip, I found it heavy. My coffee cup had a rich and thick texture. If you are new to Nespresso pods, this thick, heavy, bold, and full-bodied Mexico coffee will not work for you.

Flavor — Intense and Spiced

Nespresso Mexico Vertuo pods deliver intense and bold coffee cups. In my personal experience, I felt rich, spicy notes on my palette when I drank black coffee. The bitter notes touched my tongue, and a hint of acidity made my coffee enjoyable. When I brewed the Mexico Vertuo pod with milk, the woody notes graced my palate. The milk faded away its acidity and mellowed its bitterness. In short, Master Origin Mexico delivers you a dark, strong, and spiced coffee cup with a thick texture. Once you brew it, you will fall for it.

Finish — Woody and Earthy

In my Mexican black coffee, I felt a spicy aftertaste. But when I tried Mexico pod with milk, the flavor profile changed, and I got a woody finish. You can also pick up the hints of earthy notes. In all cases, I enjoyed the aftertaste. The drink was smooth, heavy, and lingering. Once you brew the Nespresso Mexico pod, its spicy aroma, heavy texture, and complex flavors make you realize that one is never enough.

Nespresso Mexico Intensity — 7 out of 13

Nespresso Mexico Vertuo coffee pods deliver an intense and strong drink. The high caffeine content and the medium-dark roasted blend of Mexico Arabica and Robusta beans make your drink strong, intense, thick, and full-bodied. These pods definitely give you a kick for the day. For more details, keep scrolling.
