You can’t have a bad day when you start your morning with coffee. Starting your day with a coffee is a great way to get your energy going. It’ll help you cope with the day’s stress and give you a huge energy boost in the morning. Coffee wakes you up, rejuvenates your senses, and helps you come to terms with even the most difficult mornings. Nespresso coffee pods are always there to make your morning perfect without allowing you to rush to the coffee shop. I also tried Starbucks Nespresso coffee pods, but I did not like them as they deliver airy coffee crema and taste more burnt or harsh.

One of the Nespresso boost capsules, Nespresso Melozio Boost (Melozio got a little lift with 20% extra caffeine), allows you to jump-start your day with its remarkable coffee quality. Below is the detail of this great pod. Whether you live in the USA or not, you will fall for this pod. Let’s scroll.

The Bottom Line

Nespresso Melozio Boost is a blend of Latin American Arabicas and delivers a harmonious, balanced, sweet, and smooth coffee cup. It graces your palate with cereal notes and honeyed sweetness. Melozio and Melozio Boost Vertuo coffee pods are the same in terms of flavor, texture, intensity, and flavor, except that Melozio Boost has 20% extra caffeine than the regular blend and gives you an added boost for the day.

Nespresso Melozio Boost Taste Test

I ordered my Nespresso Melozio Boost Vertuo coffee capsules from Nespresso. When I unboxed my Melozio Boost capsules, I found their golden color quite interesting. It is a Vertuo pod, so I brewed it with my Nespresso VertuoPlus coffee machine. Once done, I noticed my drink was dark and had dense coffee crema. It smelled delicious. Its color indicated that it had intensity 6. Before tasting it, I thought it would taste stronger as it has 20% extra caffeine, but I was wrong. I took a sip, and the light notes graced my palate. These light sweet notes hinted at Brazilian bourbon beans. My drink did not have too much bitterness. It had a bit of oil and acidity. I felt fruity notes and a hint of an aftertaste of tobacco (cocoa notes). It was a pleasant coffee cup. My drink was full-bodied, flavorful, and smooth.

I brewed another Melozio Boost capsule with milk. I frothed the milk and added it to the Melozio Boost coffee, the golden brown color of the drink was eye soothing. When I tasted it, I felt sweet biscuity notes on my palate. There were also a bit of cereal notes, but the biscuity aftertaste (smooth finish) made my drink linger. The Melozio Boost Nespresso capsules delivered me a beautifully balanced, delicious, and rounded coffee. I found Nespresso Melozio Boost and Nespresso Melozio the same in terms of flavor, intensity, and drink quality.

In short, Nespresso VertuoLine Melozio Boost Vertuo coffee capsules win hearts and deliver harmonious boost coffees with a delicate aroma. These capsules are not compatible with Nespresso Original machines. Enjoy hot or cold or pair it with donuts or brownies; in all cases, Nespresso Melozio Boost Vertuo coffee capsules will make your morning amazing. Nespresso Melozio also delivers the same great taste, heightened aroma, and perfectly balanced coffee cup, except that it has less caffeine than Melozio Boost.

Melozio Boost Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Features

In Melozio Boost, the decaffeination process is used in a new direction to add extra caffeine to raise Melozio’s total caffeine content by 20% to the regular blend. I have mentioned some important features of the Nespresso Melozio Boost Vertuo coffee capsules. These attributes make Melozio Boost different from all other Nespresso Vertuo coffee capsules. Please scroll down and read out the details of its features to find out the aromatic profile, flavor, and drink quality of Melozio Boost. Let’s start.

Origin — Latin American Arabicas

Nespresso Melozio Boost is a blend of Brazilian Bourbon variety beans and Central American Arabicas. Brazilian Bourbon variety beans add classic cereal notes, the aroma of delight, and honeyed sweetness in the boost coffees, while Arabicas give an added boost.

Roasting Level — 3 out of 5

The beans of Melozio Boost are split-roasted. The light roasting of Brazilian Bourbon variety beans and Central American Arabicas round out the familiar blend and give the aroma of delight. This light blend brings smooth, sweet, earthy, and toasty notes and makes Melozio Boost one of the most pleasant coffee to wake up to. Nespresso Melozio gets the same split roast and delivers a smooth, sweet coffee cup.

Aroma — Smooth and Balanced

When I brewed my Melozio Boost mellow coffee, its delightful aroma spread, and my nose caught its sweet aroma as it passed through the coffee crema. The aromatic profile of Melozio Boost smooth coffee made my day and allowed me to jump-start my day with a clear head.

Acidity — 1 out of 5

My Melozio Boost coffee had just a hint of acidity, and it did not deliver me an acrid or harsh coffee cup. The mild acidity and sweet notes delivered me a balanced, smooth, and well-rounded coffee cup. I also tried other pods and the new Nespresso pod, i.e., Black Paris (reminiscent of the exotic macaron), and enjoyed it a lot.

Bitterness — 2 out of 5

The light roasting blend of Latin American Arabicas does not add too much bitterness; that’s why my Melozio Boost coffee had a hint of bitter notes. The light and enjoyable bitterness allowed me to drink the whole cup in no time. Nespresso Melozio gets the same split roast and delivers a smooth, sweet coffee cup.

Body — 3 out of 5

When I took a sip of split roast Melozio Boost coffee, the drink was smooth, balanced, and full-bodied. The lightly roasting blend of Central American Arabicas rounds out the familiar blend and gives an aroma of delight. The coffee crema of Melozio Boost and smooth texture soothed my throat, and the delicate, cereal and toasty notes danced on my palate.

Flavor — Nutty And Cereal Notes

Split roast Melozio Boost delivered me a complex coffee cup and gathered a bouquet of flavors in my single cup. I took a sip, and the earthy and cereal notes touched my tongue. The nutty and toasty notes graced my palate when I took another sip. The honeyed sweetness is spread on the sides of my mouth. No doubt, it was a good and delicate cup of coffee. The smooth texture was enhanced when I added milk, and the milk brought dairy-sweet notes to the drink. The coffee crema of Melozio Boost soothed my throat. Nespresso Melozio (regular coffee) also delivers the same great taste, heightened aroma, and balanced coffee cup, except that it has less caffeine than Melozio Boost.

Intensity — 6 out of 14

Nespresso Melozio Boost has medium intensity. The lightly roasted blend2 of Brazilian Bourbon variety beans and Central American Arabicas adds sweetness and a classic cereal note. So, my Boost coffee had low intensity. Although it still has 20% extra caffeine, the sweet notes took away its bitterness and delivered a smooth, rounded coffee cup.

Finish — Smooth and Biscuity

My Melozio Boost split roast coffee had a smooth finish. The sweet biscuity aftertaste made my drink one of the best morning coffees. The coffee crema of Melozio Boost soothed my throat. I remember its unique character, honeyed sweetness, smooth texture, cereal, biscuity, and nutty notes. Whenever I drink Melozio Boost coffee, I think one cup is never enough.
