I’m a fan of grinding my whole coffee beans from scratch. I have tried French Press, — Aeropress, —- Percolators, —- drip coffee makers, —- Grind & Brew coffee makers over the last ten years. They all make good coffee. But my best experience has been with Breville espresso machines. To brew coffee on french Press, you have to grind coffee beans with a separate grinder, but since I bought the Breville Oracle Touch, I don’t have to grind beans separately because it has an integrated grinder fit.
Unfortunately, my Oracle Touch broke down after several years of use. Now I am on the job and looking for a coffee maker that would make coffee instantly right in front of me because I was short on time.
Some of my friends suggested instant coffee packets and single-serve coffee bags like tea bags, but I decided to limit this option to the office only.
I now had two options: either to go for the Keurig coffee makers or one of the Nespresso machines. So I thoroughly compared both the Nespresso and Keurig brewing systems and found myself favouring the Nespresso Essenza Mini.
But Essenza Mini doesn’t have an integrated frother with it, and I’m a latte art enthusiast. Now I have to buy frother separately for milk-based recipes. But the decision to buy a separate milk frother was quite difficult for me.
So I sold my Essenza Mini to a friend who was just a pod espresso enthusiast. Now I started researching Nespresso machines again. My goal now was a machine with an integrated frother.
In front of me were two series of Nespresso machines with integrated frother, the Creatista and the Lattissima. So I compared these two Nespresso series and chose Nespresso Lattissima Pro. Now my life is going very well with Latissima Pro. It lets me prepare 0.85 oz ristretto, 1.35 oz espresso, 3.70 oz lungo, 3.05 oz cappuccino, and a 6.40 oz latte with the touch of a button.
Although my habit of going to my local coffee shop still hasn’t gone, it’s reduced now that I go to Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts coffee shops once a week instead of daily and make coffee with my Nespresso Lattissima Pro the rest of the week.

What is an OriginalLine Nespresso Machine?
Nespresso offers two lines of espresso machines: OriginalLine and VertuoLine.
OriginalLine machines: These machines extract the perfect flavor and aroma from OriginalLine pods with their powerful 19 bars pressure and deliver fantastic espresso shots with a rich crema. These machines are compatible with Nespresso OriginalLine pods and third-party Nespresso capsules.
VertuoLine machines: These machines scan the capsule barcode and spin the capsules at 7000 RPM to extract the desired shot: thanks to advanced centrifusion technology. These machines work well with VertuoLine pods only, but after the Nespresso and Starbucks partnership, they are also compatible with Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuoline pods.
Overall design
The Lattissima Pro comes in black shiny piano color and has a stainless steel finish. These things are enough to give your kitchen a fancy or beautiful look. When I unboxed this machine, I found it is a small, compact, petite machine with a milk container and hot water drainage system at the front. It can easily fit on your kitchen countertop as it has a dimension of 7.6 x 13 x 10.8 inches (W x D x H).
Settings
Firstly, you have to select the desired language on its touch display system and then run the lungo cup and hot water option 3 times to wash the brewing system of the machine. Similarly, rinse and fill the milk container and water tank to brew your first cup. Coffee quality
Lattissima Pro has fulfilled all the demands regarding strength, quality, taste, texture, flavor, and body of the coffee, espresso shots, or milk-based recipes. It works well with Nespresso brand OriginalLine pods or third-party capsules and delivers splendid espresso shots topped with thick and velvety crema. Cleaning
Lattissima Pro does not require a frequent cleaning function and alerts you when it is time to clean or descale, and you can easily access these cycles through a touchscreen. It is easy to clean as all its parts are dishwasher safe, but it takes 25 minutes because you have to follow one-by-one instructions on the intuitive touchscreen.

Cleaning the Milk Frother — Milk System
In all other espresso machines, it is very difficult to wash the milk frother or milk system, but Lattissima Pro automatically cleans the milk nozzle and hot water spout regularly; you have to rotate the knob onto the clean side, and it will eject the hot steam through the milk nozzle or milk system to wash any milk residues.
