Coffee Aim’s crux:
Nespresso Giornio is a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan Arabica beans. The lighter and shorter roast of these Arabicas adds mild acidity, bitterness, and intensity. It adds a velvety texture and delivers mild, well-balanced, lingering coffee mugs with cereal and white floral notes.

Coffee should be black as Hell, strong as death, and sweet as love. Everyone wants to start a day with a perfect coffee cup, and Nespresso is here to fulfill your demand. Nespresso offers a wide range of capsules; each delivers a well-balanced coffee cup with a new balance of flavors. You can also check Starbucks and Keurig K-cup pods, but they do not deliver dense crema and taste more burnt. So, Nespresso coffee should be your best morning companion.

Nespresso Giornio Vertuo (Mild Roast Coffee) Taste Test

The Nespresso Giornio has an orange copper color, and it looks beautiful. It is a Vertuo pod, and I brewed it with my Nespresso VertuoPlus. It smelled wonderful. I got a sweet scent, and the color indicated it had intensity 4. I also saw an oil layer in my espresso. I felt butter and floral notes on my palate, but I did not detect acidity in it. It was a good, light, and well-balanced coffee cup with a creamy and oily texture. My drink had a soft, delicately floral, and toasted aftertaste, which gave me a great mouth feel.

I added vanilla syrup to the milk in the next shot and frothed it. I added the frothed milk to the Giornio coffee. When I took a sip, I realized it was a perfect coffee cup. The milk made my drink more creamy and thick. It was a light and smooth drink.

Nespresso VertuoLine Giornio mild roast coffee is unique and best for mornings. These pods deliver well-balanced and perfect beverages. You can pair your Giornio coffee with cupcakes, donuts, or coffee cake and enjoy your day.

Below are the main attributes of the Nespresso Giornio Vertuo pod. These features differentiate these coffee pods from all other Nespresso capsules VertuoLine. These characteristics also make you understand when you should brew this pod and whether it is best for you or not. Let’s study its features in detail.

Origin — East African Arabica Coffees

Nespresso Giornio is a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan Arabica beans. The aromatic floral profile of this morning blend is brought to the fore by this blend. The washed Sidamo beans unfold delicate floral notes, while the unwashed Mokaboji beans bring wild and heavy floral notes. Washed Kenyan Arabicas bring acidity and keep the floral notes alive.

In the Giornio Vertuo coffee capsule, the beans are split-roasted. The naturally processed Ethiopian Arabica beans are roasted light and short to enhance the white and wild floral notes. The Kenyan Arabica is roasted longer and darker to add body to this Vertuo coffee. The brewing brings out great crema and keeps the floral aromatics intact.

Aroma — Floral And Cereal Aroma

When I brewed VertuoLine Giornio mild roast coffee, I felt a pleasant sweet aroma reminiscent of floral and cereal notes. The medium flow and controlled brewing temperature deliver a velvety black coffee, Americano or long black. This Vertuo coffee has a cereal base note with white floral in the aromatics.

The shorter roast natural Ethiopian Arabicas keep those floral notes alive and add a cereal base note. The Kennyan coffee is blended with Ethiopian Arabicas to bring in an added layer of acidity.

Acidity — 2 out of 5

When you drink Giornio espresso, the first expression is toasted cereal, followed by white floral notes. These subtle floral notes are characteristic of naturally processed Ethiopian Arabicas awakened by the acidity of darker roast Kenyan Arabicas. The body, great crema, bitterness, floral aromatics, and flavor; are all harmoniously combined in this safari sunrise morning blend.
