Nespresso Esperanza De Colombia Vertuo Taste Test

My Esperanza De Colombia pod had black color on which Colombia is written with purple. It was a Vertuo pod, so I brewed it with my Nespresso Vertuo Next. While brewing, I did not detect any aroma, but I felt a woody and smoky scent once it was done. There was dense crema on top of the coffee; I folded it and took a sip. I felt smoky notes on my palate. My coffee was light, and I also got a grapefruit flavor. It was a well-balanced cup with low acidity and decent flavors.

In the next round, I filled the recipe glass with ice, added cold milk to it, and brewed Esperanza De Colombia pod directly over them. My iced coffee is separated into three layers: milk, coffee, and crema. It looked nice. I also added vanilla syrup to it and took a sip. The vanilla added sweetness, and the milk made my drink creamy. However it was an excellent iced drink, but I did not detect any noticeable flavor.

So, in the next shot, I filled the glass with ice and brewed a Colombian pod directly over it. I tasted it, and my first expression was wow. I felt rich, fruity, and woody notes on my palate. It was an excellent iced coffee.

Nespresso Esperanza De Colombia delivers balanced and rounded coffee cups. Enjoy hot or pour over ice, pair it with vanilla ice cream, fig bar, or pastries and enjoy your evening.
