Nespresso OriginalLine Dulsão do Brasil Pod Taste Test

I unboxed my Dulsão do Brasil coffee pod, and its golden brown color impressed me greatly. I brewed it with my Nespresso Lattissima One machine. The color of the drink hinted at an intensity of 4. My drink had a bit of crema and a gentle, sweet aroma. I got a roasted scent, and it was quite relaxing. When I tasted it, I found it smooth and light. The rich roasted, malty, and cereal notes hit my palate. The subtle acidity and bitterness indicated the light roasting of the ground coffee beans.

It lacks complexity, but the sweet, gentle acidity and the right amount of bitterness make it an easy and mellow pod. Nespresso OriginalLine Dulsão do Brasil Pod Features — An In-Depth Insight

Below are the main attributes of the OriginalLine Dulsão do Brasil Nespresso capsules. These features differentiate these capsules from all other Nespresso OriginalLine pods. These characteristics also make you understand when you should brew this light-roast coffee and whether it is best for you or not. Let’s study its features in detail.

Origin — Roast And Ground Coffee

Nespresso Dulsão do Brasil is a blend of subtly sweet, red, and yellow Bourbon coffee beans grown in the hill-top plantation of Southern Brazil. They are harvested by hand, then pulped and sun-dried to allow the mucilage sugars to infuse the beans with a mellow flavor.

Roasting Level — 2 out of 5

In this Nespresso espresso coffee blend, the beans are split-roasted. Some beans undergo light roasting to retain the natural sweet flavor and achieve a roundness on the palate. The remaining coffee beans undergo longer roasting for distinctive toasted notes.

Aroma — Sweet And Roasted

When I brewed Dulsão light-roast espresso pod, the gentle, sweet, and roasted aroma soothed my mind. I loved the morning coffee’s aroma as it woke me up and calmed my nerves. Dulsão fulfilled my demand beautifully.

Acidity — 1 out of 5

Espressos have always been an important part of my life, accompanying me from one cafe terrace to another. My Dulsão, light-roast pure Arabica coffee, had subtle acidic notes. The mild acidity and lightly toasted grain taste made my drink pleasant and did not add a sour taste.

Bitterness — 2 out of 5

The bit of bitter notes from the Dulsão espresso coffee touched the tip of my tongue. The balanced bitterness made my drink enjoyable and did not add harsh flavor. The sweet notes of honey and maple syrup dominate on a base of malted cereal, making it a pleasure to drink.

Note that this may be too bitter for you if you prefer dark roast or Robusta coffee.

Body — 2 out of 5

My Dulsão do Brasil espresso coffee was light, sweet, and smooth. It was well-balanced and round on my palate and easy on my tongue. I enjoyed it 2-3 times a day, and it always surprised me with its hidden strength.

Flavor — Sweet And Satiny Smooth

Nespresso Dulsão do Brasil delivered me a light and delicious coffee cup. The rich roasted, malty, and cereal notes hit my palate and relaxed my senses. The banana-like sweet acidity made my drink pleasant. It did not have any sharp edges, and I enjoyed it greatly. I also brewed cappuccino or other milk recipes with this espresso pod; it always delivered me up-to-the-mark beverages.

Finish — Slightly Bitter

The light, bitter aftertaste won my heart when I finished my Dulsão light-roast espresso coffee. I liked the mild finish, and this Nespresso blend fulfilled my need. My drink was smooth, light, sweet, and lingering. The robust aroma, subtle acidity and bitterness, bouquet of light flavors, and low intensity are a great treat for light-roast coffee lovers.

If you love Dulsão do Brasil, you’ll fall for Nicaragua from the new Master Origin range. It is a delicious blend with a satiny smooth texture and delightful sweet cereal notes.

Intensity Level — 4 out of 13

Dulsão do Brasil Nespresso pods from the pure origin range deliver smooth coffee cups with low intensity. It is a delicate blend of red and yellow Bourbon beans from Brazil. It’s satiny smooth, elegantly balanced flavor is enhanced with a note of delicately toasted grain.

Nespresso Dulsão do Brasil Caffeine — 55-65 mg

Nespresso Dulsão do Brasil contains 55-65 mg caffeine content. The high caffeine and light roasting glow in your cup with sweet notes of honey, malt, and maple syrup. The combination of separately roasted yellow and red Bourbon beans from Brazil brings roundness to the palate. The semi-dry treatment method allows the pulp from the coffee cherry to add sweetness to the coffee bean.

Note that if you prefer dark roast shots, this pure Arabica coffee may need to be more bitter for you.
