The Bottom Line:
Nespresso Vertuo Master Origin Colombia is a light blend of Colombia Aguadas washed Arabica beans. Colombia coffee is made in the mountains of Colombia and highlights the coffee farmers’ skills. These Vertuo coffee pods give you a satisfying juicy and fruity taste. This fruity and winey coffee grace your palate, and the acidity and a hint of bitter notes touch your tongue. You can also pick up the hints of candied apples and sweet and red fruit berries. Adding milk opens the sweet and creamy caramel notes in Colombian black Coffee.

Start your day with a coffee, and you will get many things done, too. Coffee is always a good inspiration to start something new and exciting. Nespresso ensures that your morning will never get bored, offering a wide range of espresso and coffee pods. These capsules deliver delicious coffee cups in the comfort of your home. I also tried Starbucks Nespresso coffee pods, but I did not like them as they did not deliver dense crema, and the Coffee was too bitter. So, I prefer to kick start my day with Nespresso pods.

One of the Nespresso coffee pods, i.e. Single Origin Nespresso Colombia, delivers a perfect morning coffee. It’s what gets me going in the morning, it makes me feel calm, and it’s what I love to drink. Below is the detail of this great pod. Nespresso Colombia Vertuo Taste Test

My Colombia Vertuo capsules had a shiny pink color, labeled with Colombia, and they looked pretty. These are Vertuo capsules and are only compatible with Nespresso VertuoLine machines. So, I brewed a Colombian Vertuo pod with my Nespresso VertuoPlus machine. It delivered me a 7.7 oz coffee cup. The Coffee had dense crema, and its color indicated it had an intensity of 5. When I smelled it, I felt a robust fruity scent and a bit of cranberry smell. The lively aroma hinted at Colombian beans. Firstly, I tasted its crema; it had a sour taste. After this, I mixed the crema with Coffee and took a sip. The drink had an enjoyable sour taste (acidic notes) and probably came from fruity berries. I also felt a bit of bitterness on the tip of my tongue. I liked the drink and enjoyed its unique flavor.

I added cinnamon syrup in milk and frothed them. Then I added the frothed milk into the Colombian Coffee. It smelled good. When I tasted the Coffee, I found it pleasant. The drink had a thick layer of crema and cinnamon (spicy) flavor. I also felt a bit of a fruity flavor. It was a delicious coffee cup. I prefer to start my morning with bitter Coffee, and Nespresso Colombia delivered me such a vivacious coffee.

Single Origin Nespresso Colombia delivers smooth and well-balanced vivacious coffee cups. It is only compatible with Nespresso Vertuo machines and does not work with Original-Line machines. Enjoy hot or cold, brew it with or without milk, or pair it with savory or chocolatey crepes; the Nespresso Colombia Vertuo pod will always make your morning perfect.

How Master Origin Colombia Coffee is Originated?

Master Origins Colombia washed Arabica is a result of farmers’ skill. They tweaked the classic washed process and grew the Fair Trade Arabica at exceptionally high altitudes. They pick only the ripe fruit and attentively execute longer fermentation. The result is a fruity, sweet cup with juicy acidity and red berry aromas.

Nespresso Colombia Vertuo medium roast coffee Features — An In-Depth Insight

I have mentioned some essential characteristics of Master Origin Colombia Vertuo coffee pods. These capsules are compatible with only Nespresso Vertuo machines. These features will help you discover how Master Origin Colombia differs from other Nespresso pods of various origins. These attributes also make you understand whether this opulent pod is best for you or not. Let’s scroll and solve your queries.

Origin — Colombia Aguadas (Washed processed Colombian Arabica)

Nespresso Colombia is a blend of washed processed Colombian Arabica beans from Aguadas mountain. These beans are present at high altitudes and in cooler climates. The farmers wait longer before harvesting their crops. These beans undergo long fermentation. The washing process of these beans is complex and time-consuming. However, the Aguadas farmers used their skill and painstakingly harvested only the perfectly ripe fruit. They monitor the long fermentation to ensure only the best aromas develop in the Coffee.

Roasting Level — 1 out of 5

In Nespresso Vertuo Colombia, the high-grown Colombia Aguadas washed Arabicas are split roasted. A large portion of these beans are lightly and quickly roasted, while other small portions of these beans are roasted for a long time. This roasting process adds complexity to your coffee cup. A short roast at medium temperatures keeps the deep and delicate aromatics intact. I also liked the intense roasted dark cocoa taste of Nespresso Double Espresso Scuro.

Aroma — Winey red fruit aromas

When I brewed my Colombian Coffee, I got a robust and lively fruity aroma. I also smelled berries. The split roasting of late-harvest Arabica beans delivers a satisfying and soothing aroma. A short roast at medium temperatures keeps the deep and delicate aromatics intact. You can also pick up the hints of red berries and winey notes.

Acidity — 5 out of 5

After brewing, I felt a sour taste when I tasted my Colombian Coffee. This too much sour taste (acidity) came from fruit berries and winey notes. This lively acidity did not make my drink acrid or harsh. When you brew this Master origin Vertuo pod, you will like its interesting sour taste and fall for Nespresso Colombia.

Bitterness — 1 out of 5

Master Origin Colombia washed Arabica delivers a perfect coffee cup whose flavor is neither underdeveloped nor over. My Colombian Coffee had a rich flavor and a hint of bitter notes. The light roasting of late-harvest Arabica (Colombia Aguadas) beans adds bitter notes to your drink. The lively acidity and satisfying bitterness allow you to enjoy your breakfast in full swing.

Body — 1 out of 5

My Colombian Coffee was smooth, dark, and had dense crema on the top. What happens when you brew this Vertuo pod with milk? Your drink will become more smooth and creamy. In my experience, when I added milk to my Colombian Coffee, I got thick crema and a smooth and creamy texture. However, Nespresso Vertuo Colombia delivers a great coffee and lets you jump-start with a clear head. If you like Starbucks coffee, you can check Colombia Starbucks coffee capsules that provide balanced Coffee with nutty notes.

Flavor — Fruity and Complex

Each sip allowed me to experience a new flavor when I started to drink my Colombian Coffee. When I took my first sip, I felt rich fruity and cranberry notes on my palate. The candied apple and winey notes spread across the middle of my tongue in another sip. When I brewed Colombian Vertuo pod with milk, the sweet and caramel creamy notes emerged in my cup. Nespresso Vertuo Colombia delivers a satisfying coffee cup with a juicy, sweet, and berry taste. This sour Coffee with a hint of bitter notes is perfect for morning breakfast. You can check Colombia Starbucks coffee capsules with nutty notes if you like Starbucks coffee.

Intensity — 5 out of 14

Nespresso Vertuo Colombia Vertuo medium roast coffee pod has medium intensity. The light and long roasting of late-harvest Arabica (Colombia Aguadas) beans add rich flavor and medium intensity. The fruit berries, winey, and candied apple taste add a satisfying sour taste and deliver a smooth and balanced Vertuo coffee.

Caffeine Content — 170-200 mg

Nespresso always fulfills your caffeine needs with its espresso and coffee capsules. Nespresso capsules contain 80 mg of caffeine, which is enough to make you active for the whole day. Nespresso Vertuo Colombia is a Vertuo coffee pod (compatible with only Nespresso Vertuo machines) and contains high caffeine content, i.e. 170-200 mg. However, it has high caffeine content; it still delivers light and smooth Coffee with medium intensity due to the light roasting of late harvest Arabica (Colombia Aguadas) beans.

Finish — Fruity and Caramel

I felt the fruity berries aftertaste when I finished my Colombian medium roast black coffee. You can also experience the hints of winey, candied apple, and red berry notes. I got a sweet caramel finish when I brewed the Colombia Vertuo coffee pod with milk. In both cases, the drink was smooth and lingering.
