Nespresso Colombia Medium-Roast Pod Taste Test

My Colombia OriginalLine pod had a shiny pink color, refreshing my mind and eyes. I brewed it with my Creatista Uno Nespresso machine. The color of the drink hinted at an intensity level of 6. The distinct fruity and winey aroma hit my nose. The tangy and acidic taste graced my palate as soon as I took a sip of my 1.35 oz espresso. This shot was rounded, and its smooth texture covered my tongue. The pleasant sour taste (winey) made my cup more enjoyable.

When I tried it as a lungo, I did not get any noticeable aroma. However, the fruity notes were coming through. As I added milk to Colombian coffee, its flavor profile became subtle. Milk mellowed its acidity and made it refreshing.

This blend is perfect for breakfast and coffee breaks. Pair it with dark chocolate for a more iconic taste, and enjoy your day.
