Nespresso Reviving Origins Amaha Awe Uganda Vertuo Taste Test

I unboxed my Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda pods. They had black color, and Uganda was written on them with faded golden color. I brewed this pod with my Nespresso Evoluo machine. My 5.07 oz gran lungo drink had dense crema on the top and the color hinted at intensity 6. I smelled it and got a sandalwood aroma. When I took a sip, I realized it was a unique (different) coffee cup. The woody, citrus, and a bit of floral notes hit my palate. I also detected a bit of oil. It was a light, refreshing, and lingering cup. I felt mild acidity and a bit of bitter notes on my tongue. I found this coffee cup an interesting one.

In the next turn, I brewed latte macchiato. I frothed 4oz of milk in the Aeroccino and added it to the cup. I brewed Uganda pod directly over the milk foam. My coffee was divided into six layers, and the drink looked cool. The citrus and floral notes vanished, and the rich woody notes danced on my palate. I also felt a bit of spicy notes, and no doubt it was a good coffee cup.

Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda results from a reviving origins program and delivers complex, light, and well-balanced coffee cups. You can brew this pod for breakfast, pair it with cupcakes, and enjoy the day.

Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda Vertuo Features — An In-Depth Insight

Below are the main attributes of the Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda Vertuo pod. These features differentiate these gran lungo pods from all other Vertuo pods. These characteristics also make you understand whether it is best for you or not. Let’s study its features in detail.

Origin — Uganda Arabicas

Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda is a blend of Western Uganda Arabica beans, harvested 120 km long in the Rwenzori Mountains. This mountain is referred to as the mountains of the moon.

The glaciers and snow-capped peaks result in a steady waterfall that compliments the abundant rainfall and nourishes the fertile soils. 1200m high above, there was a rare and forgotten coffee. The shade and nutrients the banana trees provide to this unique terroir result in a true Arabica dreamland. However, the isolation and years of neglect were clear in the cup.

Roasting Level — 3 out of 5

The provided image aptly illustrates the roasting level attributed to the "Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda," a salient facet discussed within the article titled "Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda Review."

In Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda, the Uganda Arabica beans from the Rwenzori Mountains are roasted utilizing the split-roast technique. The first split is roasted dark to enhance body and complexity and balance the wild notes that come from the natural (dry) process. The second split is roasted light to explore the tropical fruit’s aromatic profile.

Aroma — Wild, Fruity aromatic profile

When I brewed my Uganda coffee, I felt the sandalwood scent. The espresso was rich and clean. However, you can also pick up the wild fruity character that came to your nose with hard-to-find sandalwood and elegant floral notes

Acidity — 2 out of 5

My Uganda coffee had a mild tang-like acidity. This juicy acidity spreads across your tongue, does not make your drink sour, and gives you a great mouth feel.

Bitterness — 3 out of

The included image eloquently depicts the bitterness profile of the "Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda," a focal point intricately discussed in the article titled "Nespresso Amaha Awe Uganda Review."

When I drank my Amaha Awe Uganda coffee cup, I felt a bit of bitter notes. This single-origin coffee is best for you if you dislike bitter or intense drinks. The low bitterness makes your morning break or breakfast enjoyable.

Body — 3 out of 5

My Uganda coffee was not watery; it had dense crema on the top. It was light, refreshing, and lingering. The addition of milk makes it smooth and creamy. The light and smooth features make this Vertuo pod the best for breakfast.

Flavor — Wild, and Floral

Amaha Awe Uganda delivers complex coffee cups. The sustainable practices of farmers enable them to provide a rich espresso with a wild character. In my experience, I felt woody, citrus, and floral notes on the tip of my tongue. But when I added milk, the citrus and floral notes disappeared, and the woody and spicy notes took their place. These Vertuo pods undoubtedly deliver great coffee cups that carry hard-to-find sandalwood notes and elegant florals.

Intensity — 6 out of 13

Amaha Awe Uganda adds medium intensity to your coffee cups. It does not deliver intense and dark beverages, making it suitable for breakfast. It has a distinct taste and enjoyable intensity that puts it apart from all other pods lines of Nespresso.
