Nespresso Alto Dolce XL Vertuo Taste Test
My Nespresso Alto Dolce XL was purple-grey with a satiny look. It was a Vertuo pod, so I brewed it in a travel mug with my Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe machine. My 14 oz long black espresso had light crema, and the color indicated it had intensity 4. I smelled it and got baked bread notes. I took a sip and felt toasted cracker notes with a hint of caramel flavor on my palate. My drink was smooth, light, and sweet. It gave me an excellent mouthfeel and is the best morning commute coffee.
In the next shot, I added sweetener to the milk, frothed it, and added it to the Dolce XL coffee. I drank it and found it excellent. The milk balanced its sweetness and delivered a smoother coffee cup.
