- Download the Nespresso App from the Play store or App store
- Open the app and click on the Machine icon.

Connectivity or Pairing your Nespresso Vertuo Next

- Unplug your brewer
- Wait for at least 10 sec before doing anything with the machine

How to first use or after a Long Period of Non-Use Nespresso Vertuo Next
If you are using your machine for the first time or after quite a long period, then dust can be there as the machine is made of recycled material. So it is necessary to clean it before using it; here you can do so;
Instructions:-
- Remove the water tank
- Rinse and clean the water tank thoroughly
- Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water
- Place the water tank back in its place
- Remove the drip tray as well
- Clean it and place them back
- Plug in the cord
- Turn on the machine but first lock the machine by sliding the handle to the side
- Then press the ON button.
- The light will start blinking, ensuring the machine is in the pre-heating phase
- Wait for the light to become stable.
- When the light becomes stable, it means the machine is now heated up
- Place a container of a minimum of 34 ounces or 1 L under the coffee outlet
- As the machine is locked, press the button above the handle 3 times in successive manners.
- The cleaning will start automatically after less than 2 minutes, and water will start flowing into the container.
- The whole cleaning process will take 7 minutes
- If you want to stop the procedure, then press the button. To resume the process again, press button
- After the cleaning has been done, a still light will be shown
- Your brewer is ready to brew coffee.

How to prepare Coffee using Nespresso Vertuo Next
As you have cleaned the brewer, it’s time to brew delicious coffees with it. To know how you can prepare coffee, follow the below instructions.
Instructions:-
- Remove the water tank from the machine
- Rinse and fill the tank with fresh drinking water
- Place the water back in its place.
- Lock the machine by sliding the handle to the side
- Turn on the machine by pressing the ON button

- Now after adjusting your cup support, place a cup on it
- Unlock the machine head by sliding the handle to the center.
- Open the machine head
- Insert your Nespresso Vertuo capsule in the capsule compartment, as Nespresso Classic capsules cannot be used.
- Close the machine head and lock through the handle.
- Press the button for coffee preparation
- After some time, the coffee will start pouring into the cup.
- If you want to stop the pouring process in between, press the button again.
- If you want to top up your coffee, press the button within 45 seconds after the coffee has been poured.
- When the desired volume has been achieved again, press the button to stop the brew cascading.
- After the coffee has been poured, the steady light will be seen.
- Unlock the machine head and turn off your machine by pressing the ON/OFF button.
- To eject the used capsule, turn the handle to the right and open the machine. It will eject the capsule.

Resetting to Factory Setting the Nespresso Vertuo Next

- If you want to stop the procedure in between, then press the button.
- The light will become steady then.
- To resume the cleaning procedure again, press the button, and the process will continue.
Descaling the Nespresso Vertuo Next
Descaling is also one of the major processes which must be done twice a year to keep the machine in good condition. To descale your brewer, this is how you can do it.
Instructions:-
- Fill the water tank up to 17 fl oz or 0.5 L with fresh water.
- Pour 1 unit of Nespresso Descaling Solution into the water tank.
- Empty the drip tray and the capsule container of your Nespresso Vertuo Next
- Place a container of 34 fl oz or 1 L under the coffee outlet.
- Lock the machine’s head by sliding the handle to the left.
- Turn on the machine by pressing the ON/ OFF button.
- The lights will start blinking, which means the machine is in the pre-heating phase.
- Wait for the light to become steady as it represents the machine being heated up and ready.
- Unlock the machine’s head by sliding the handle to the center and open it
- It will cause the capsule to eject.
- Close the machine’s head again, and do not lock it.
- Press and hold the button for 7 seconds to enter the machine in descaling mode.
- The button light will start blinking fastly.
- Now within 45 seconds, lock the machine by sliding the handle to the left and unlock it by sliding the handle to the center.
- Press and hold the button again for 7 seconds.
- You must do points 14 and 15 within 45 seconds; otherwise, the machine will not enter the descaling mode and continue the brewing mode.
- To start the descaling process, lock the machine’s head by sliding the handle to the left.
- Press the button, and the descaling will start.
- The machine will then automatically turn off when the descaling process finishes.
- After the descaling process finishes, empty and rinse the drip tray, cup support, and water tank.
- Fill the water tank with fresh drinking water.
- Turn on the machine by pressing the ON button.
- Wait for the machine to heat up.
- Place a container under the coffee outlet
- Press the button to rinse the brewer.
- The water will start pouring into the container.
- The machine will automatically stop when the process completes.
