Direction To Use Nespresso Citiz And Milk Aeroccino

CAUTION

  • There is a fatal risk of electric shock and fire. Make sure the underside of the Aeroccino is dry.
  • To ensure hygienic conditions and proper maintenance of Nespresso CitiZ and Milk, we do not recommend use of specially fortified milk, reconstituted milk powder and flavored milk.
  • Don’t add syrup, sugar, chocolate powder or any other additives directly in the jug. It can damage the coating during preparation.
  • I do not recommend a metal spoon to collect the foam in the jug.
  • Don’t neglect cleaning instructions before and after each use.
  • Don’t remove the hot jug from its base. If you do so, rinse immediately with cool water to avoid burning risk.

TIP : For best milk froth, use whole or semi skimmed milk at refrigerated temperature (about 4-6 °C or 39.2-42.8 °F). To ensure hygienic conditions, use heat-treated milk (pasteurized), refrigerated and freshly opened only. Don’t use frozen milk, it will not froth.

Instructions:

  1. Clean the Aeroccino jug before the first use.
  2. Nespresso Aeroccino offers you two types of froths
  • Insert the coil ring for froth milk
  • Remove the coil ring for steam milk
  1. Attach the relevant whisk inside the Aeroccino jug.
  2. Once you have chosen the type of froth, pour fresh milk into the container up to one of the two maximum levels.
  • If you are a Cappuccino lover and want a light and velvety texture at the top of your drink then froth milk is best. Froth milk is larger in volume so pour milk in the jug up to the lower maximum line otherwise, it will overflow. The Nespresso Aeroccino will only take a minute to do frothing.
  • You need steam milk for a smooth and creamy latte. Here, you can fill the jug upto upper maximum line, depending on the size or milk you want to add in your coffee.
  1. Now fix the Aeroccino lid and place the jug on its base.
  2. You can enjoy both hot and cold froths.
  • Just press the button once for hot preparation. Red light will appear and it will take 70-80 sec to complete the process.
  • For cold frothing, press and hold the button for 2 seconds. Blue light will appear and the whole process will take approximately 60 sec (1 minute).
  1. You can turn off the machine manually ( by pressing the Espresso and Lungo button together) or if you have activated the energy saving mode, Nespresso will turn off automatically.

Aeroccino Purification

Cleaning the Nespresso Aeroccino isn’t a pretty job, but it’s important to keep it in good condition. So, clean it after each use.

CAUTION

  • If the base needs to be cleaned, first unplug it then clean it with wet cloth.
  • Make sure the connector is dry before operating the machine.
  • Neither submerge the operating base in water nor put it in the dishwasher.
  • The underside of the jug must be dry before placing it on the base.
  • Clean gently with non-abrasive material. Sharp objects can hit marks.

Process Of Cleaning

  1. Before cleaning, turn Off the main switch.
  2. Detach the Aeroccino from its base.
  3. Separate the lid from jug
  4. Take off the seal from the lid.
  5. Remove the whisk from the jug.
  6. Take out the spring from the whisk.
  7. Clean all separated parts with dish soap then rinse them with warm water.
  8. Use a non abrasive sponge and detergent to clean the inside of Aeroccino and rinse with mild hot water.
