A Step-By-Step Guide On How To Make Espresso With Nespresso Essenza Mini 

On the top of the Nespresso Essenza Mini, you will see two buttons. The button on the right side is Lungo, and the one on the left side is Espresso. To brew the Espresso shot, follow the steps below.

Instructions:

1. Turn ON the machine by pressing either Espresso or Lungo button.

2. The LEDs will start blinking for approx. 25 seconds, indicating the machine is heating up.

3. After this, the LEDs will become still, which means the machine is ready or heated up.

4. Fill the water tank with fresh and clear water.

5. Lift the lever, insert the capsule, and close the lever.

6. Place a cup/mug under the coffee outlet.

7. Press the Espresso button.

8. 40 ml or 1.35 ounce of Espresso shot will start pouring into the placed mug/cup.

9. An espresso shot has been ready.

10. Remove the used capsule by lifting and closing the lever (the capsule will automatically fall into the capsule container).

Tips:

1. When the machine is in the heating phase, you can press the Espresso button as well. Then the machine will automatically brew you an Espresso shot when the machine is ready.
2. If you want to stop the coffee flow mid-way, then press the Espresso button again. To continue the flow after the pause, again press the Espresso button.
3. You can brew another Espresso shot from the same capsule by pressing the Espresso button after one shot has been already poured (without removing the capsule). But remember, the second shot will be less intense than the first one.
